Arrange some dolcelatte, Shropshire blue, Sainsbury's Taste the difference traditional Wensleydale, Cornish Yarg, pecorino and Olde York ewes’ milk cheese on a serving plate.
Serve with seedless green and red grapes and some walnuts.
Food and wine matching
Want your fish filleted or skinned? Just ask – we can prepare it to your liking. Plus all our cod and haddock is now 100% line caught.
Our range includes:
- Delicious white fish, including sea bass, cod, haddock and plaice
- A selection of fish like salmon, trout, herring, mackerel, sardines, kippers and fresh tuna
- A selection of smoked fish, including mackerel, kippers and haddock
- Great-tasting shellfish, such as prawns, crabs, mussels and scallops.
Parma salmon
Serves 4
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas 6.
2. Brush 4 skinned salmon fillets each with 1/2 teaspoon pesto. Season with black pepper and lemon juice and chill for 30 minutes. Lay 3 basil leaves along each fillet, brush with oil and wrap with 2 slices of Parma ham.
3. Bake on a greased tray for 10–15 minutes, until cooked. Serve drizzled with pesto sauce mixed with basil oil, and some salad and lemon wedges.

Warm chicken deli salad
Serves 4–6
1. Skin and shred 900g rotisserie chicken and toss with salad leaves, mixed antipasti (from deli counter), halved cherry tomatoes and sliced spring onions, cucumber and red onion.
2. Dress with 150ml mayonnaise mixed with 2 teaspoons each Worcestershire sauce and grainy mustard and 1 tablespoon tomato sauce.
Great with Sainsbury’s SO organic Chardonnay.

Herby barbecued steak
Serves 4
1. In a blender, whizz 1 deseeded red chilli, 1 clove garlic, a handful of parsley and coriander, 25g almonds, 4 tablespoons olive oil and 2 tablespoons parmesan.
2. Pour over 4 sirloin steaks in a bowl and marinate for 30 minutes, turning frequently.
3. Cook the steaks on a hot barbecue for 3–5 minutes on each side, depending on how you like your steaks.
4. Serve with barbecued vine-ripened cherry tomatoes and some crumbled feta.

- Head to the meat counter for our summer eating range of burgers and kebabs. This summer we have some mouthwatering new Sainsbury's Taste the difference burgers for you, including lamb with cheese & apple, and beef & chipotle chilli.
- Pick up some Mature blue Stilton from the cheese counter. Brush large flat mushrooms with a little oil, top with slices of Stilton and grill on the barbecue.
- Next, visit the fish counter. Try barbecuing sea bass so the skin turns appetisingly crispy, then serve drizzled with olive oil, capers and lemon juice.
