Lassi is an Indian yogurt drink and is great with spicy food. If you're eating at home you can make it yourself, with natural yogurt, water, banana and a dash of honey then whizz it in a blender - yum!

Weirdly, sweet wines work really well with curry - maybe for the same reason that sweet Peshwari naan is so tasty when you are mopping up the curry sauce. My favourite is Dr. L Riesling - it's about £6 in my local Sainsbury's and it's quite low in alcohol so you can feel virtuous too!
