What products would you all like to buy that are not seen in Sainsbury's?

    Request them here!

Incidently 'instore' is a verb and store is an American word - over here we call them shops.

I would like to see more America products and ingredients instore. How about stocking Nilla Wafers, Grahams Crackers,Grits, Root Beer and cornmeal? I did email Sainsburys quite some time ago and never even got an acknowledgement.

    Pickled Dill Cucumbers.
(No, not those unpleasant Mrs Elswood - Pickled cucumber spears)

Ingredients: Cucumbers, vinegar, sugar, salt, dill, garlic, horseradish, herbs and spices

Krakus brand are the only ones left that I am aware of. Though they have had many different labels over the years, they are always the same product (from Poland).

Currently I have to order these from goodnessdirect.com & receive them through the post. Most supermarkets used to stock them, including Sainsburys. The last supermarket to do so was Waitrose.

PS I cant find the cereal Oat Crunchies anymore either.

A big one for me was root beer, but one day I went into my local Sainsbury's and discovered they do sell a Sainsbury's own brand 2ltr bottle of root beer, sold alongside the other 'odd' drinks (like 'dandelion & burdock'). I noticed it contains sweetener rather than sugar, so if you're that way inclined it ticks that box too.

Personally, I'd like to see more local delicacies in store. I live in London but if I go to a Sainsbury's in, say, Cornwall or Glasgow, I'd like to see some products they don't sell in London. I'm not a huge fan of the ubiquity of products...

I'd likr to see a Range Of Beers from Skinners Brewery in Cornwall. I go to Cornwall on Holiday at some point in the year and sample the local brewed beers.

Skinners Brewery based in Truro have won loads of awards for their Real Ale and bottled lager, that is far better than the Big Brand Stuff.
You can also take a tour around the Brewery and sample the Ales in a mock Pub ( it actually looks like the inside of a real pub) alot different to their old web page ! )

I can get other Beers at Sainsburys and Jamie Oliver sells Skinners at his New Restaraunt at Watergate Bay, Nr. Newquay !
So come on Sainsburys, get your fingers out before one of the other Supermarkets get there first.
Cornwall is getting more and more popular every year and Surfing as taken off big style, give them something to drink when they get back home.
