Really need help! my 5 year old's allergic 2 gluten egg nut milk

I know you posted your question a while ago but I have alittle advice that may help...... My husband cannot have milk, cheese etc.... he eats porridge oats for breakfast with soya milk, or just fresh fruit salad with soya yoghurt. Also at meal times I have a real problem as my daughter (age 5) has to have goats milk or cheese, so I find myself cooking 2 lots of everything. I tend to cook alot of fresh fish, making fish pie using soya milk to poach the fish and corn flour thickens the milk into a sauce, then add fresh brocolli and mash potato (creamed with Pure soya spread). Steamed fish is also really good. Im lucky as my daughter loves, fruit, veg and fish. Chicken wrapped in bacon and slow roast is always a good option and goes down well. My husbands dietician advised him to eat tinned sardines as they are full of some vitamin or other... (cant remember which!). Another nice fish dish is smoked haddock or cod poached in soya milk and just served with nice mashed potato, add a little finely chopped spring onion to the mash - this adds a slightly different flavour, again something my daughter loves. Also she really likes kidney beans, cannellini beans and black eyed beans - all full of goodness. Try this recipe: Pan fried pork with cannellini beans.(serves4)
5 tbsp Olive oil, 4 pork loin steaks, 3 shallots peeled and finely chopped, 1/2 red pepper deseeded and finely chopped, 2 garlic cloves finely chopped, 1 x 410g cannellini beans drained, 150ml dry white wine, 1/2pint chicken or vegetable stock. Heat 2 tbsps olive oil in large frying pan, add pork and cook for approx 10 - 12 mins until deep golden brown on both sides, then prop on their ends on the side of the pan so the edges brown and fat crisps up. Add another spoon of oil then add shaloots, peppers and garlic - cook for about 5 mins. Pour in wine and bring to boil. Add the beans and stock, lay pork back in with rest of ingredients then cover and simmer for 15 mins or until liquid has reduced and become syrupy and chops are tender. Serve with new potatoes and salad. Emjoy and good luck.
