    Hi Stuart,
    Having advised your new post of Beverage Buyer and your passion for the job, I haven't noticed much by way of replies, probably an oversight on my part,

    But

    Where has all the Cadbury's Bournvita gone from the shelves. Bournvita drinkers are also passionate about their beverages and it has plainly become missing in action over the last few months. Please help. If not Globally, then at the Oldbury store in the West Midlands. where Bournvita drinkers are gagging for their favourite fix.

    It's not only your area , it's the same here CV32. Not only Sainsbugs either!! None of the "supermarkets" or our "local" stores seem to be stocking this now. Is it a seasonal thing??

    So I see that after three weeks you still don't have an answer. So typical for big companies, must have put it in the too hard basket.

    I was online trying to find out what is going on with Bournvita - I usually keep a reserve but I am down the grains! Haven't been able to buy it for months. To my horror I discovered I am not alone in my desperate concerns over the lack of Bournvita from the shelves. Oh dear what are we going to do and what on earth is going on? It's normally not that easy to find but this is beyond a joke.

    Anyone with any leads let us know.

    I was intrigued and had a look online as well.

    I am surprised that Sainsbury's has not replied to you to tell you as I found this sad line in the write-up for the product:

    "It is no longer produced for the UK market, but is going from strength to strength in India and Nigeria."

    It is apparently Cadbury's flagship line in Nigeria and in India the Cadbury Bournvita Quiz Show is the longest running sponsored programme running on national television.

    However there was a mainly internet campaign to bring back Cadbury's Wispa - which has apparently succeeded (see the Cadbury's press release) - so you could start a campaign. All hope is not lost.

    Take a look at the Cadbury's site and search for Bournvita. Of course it is possible that it is made for the Irish or Continental European market. You can email Cadbury's direct from their site and ask them.

    What does Sainsbury's offer that is similar?
