Tom-berries - a burst of tomato flavour
Back by popular demand for the Summer season, the Tom-berry will be on shelf in our stores from 16 April.
These small yet perfectly formed tomatoes are tiny bursts of flavour that can be used to add colourful rays of sunshine to any salad, or intense tomato hits on your pizza. They are also perfect for your family's lunch boxes as they are so easy to just pop in the mouth. A really tasty, healthy snack.
These tiny toms are a wild variety, which were developed in Holland, and first commercially cultivated last year.
Robert Honeysett, our fresh produce technologist says: "Tom-berries are ideal for helping people reach their five-a-day. I bet it's not just kids who take a liking to these tantilising tiny toms, they are more-ish for everyone!".
Tom-berries will be available exclusively in our stores from 16 April through to Septembr priced at £1.39 for a 100g punnet.
