Get Ahead is the perfect way to go places in Sainsbury’s. If you’re enthusiastic, friendly with 3 A levels (or equivalent) plus some retail experience, you’re just the person to join our retail management training scheme.

Get Ahead is a management training scheme that could turn you into a Department Manager within nine to 18 months. You’ll learn everything you need instore, alongside a friendly team who’ll support and guide you in a way that’s refreshing and enjoyable. In the process, you’ll pick up great skills that will see you through your entire life, such as successful communication, problem solving and team playing, that all come in handy whether you’re managing a department or negotiating for your first car.
Right from the beginning, you’ll have cash in your pocket earning £250 to £330 per week as well as a package of generous benefits. When you’ve completed the scheme, you’ll be well equipped to become a Department Manager with your very own team to look after.
