 5. My school is already registered – do I still have to update my contact details to gain access to online resources?
 6. My school still has some vouchers left over from Active Kids 2007. Can we use these for Active Kids 2008?

 7. How do I arrange the free collection of my vouchers and order form by DHL?

 1. My school placed an order as part of last year’s scheme and we are still waiting for all or some of our equipment. What should I do?
If you have any specific questions regarding your order, or any of the equipment you have received, please contact the Active Kids helpline on 0844 415 8440.

 2. My school registered for Active Kids 2007 and we have received a letter from Sainsbury’s about Active Kids 2008. Will we be automatically registered for 2008 if we don’t opt out of the campaign?

That is correct. Unless you tick the opt-out box and send the slip back to the address stated by 5 January 2008, you will automatically be re-registered for the campaign.
This means you will receive your Welcome pack, which includes a catalogue, educational resource pack and support materials to help rally the support of pupils and parents, during January 2008.

 3. What is the £1 fee that is mentioned in the Terms and conditions for?

Your school pays Sainsbury’s £1 for any equipment you redeem and Sainsbury’s pays you £1 for the use of your school name in local press and publicity. These two sums will be offset against each other, so no money will physically change hands, although an invoice will be issued and sent to your school for your records only.
If your school is VAT registered, please remember your invoicing obligations.

 4. I don’t want my school to be featured in the local press – can we still register?

In previous years many schools were featured in their local press through Active Kids and this was extremely well received by both teachers and pupils alike. This is a great opportunity for your school to gain coverage and highlight participation in a fantastic campaign. If you really don’t want the opportunity to be featured in local press, then call Active Kids on 0844 415 8440.

 5. My school is already registered – do I still have to update my contact details to gain access to online resources?

Even if you remember your password and username from last year, it is important that you confirm these by entering your details again. Simply click here to confirm your contact details and gain access to online resources, receive email updates and check your Nectar donations balance.

 6. My school still has some vouchers left over from Active Kids 2007. Can we use these for Active Kids 2008?

No, vouchers cannot be banked for use in a future campaign. All vouchers collected must be used to redeem equipment and experiences in that year.

7.How do I arrange the free collection of my vouchers and order form by DHL?

All you have to do is follow the instructions detailed in the ‘How to order’ section. Alternatively, to help you arrange collection, you can call the Active Kids helpline on 0844 415 8440 to arrange pick up.
Please note that we are unable to offer the same day collection service, although there will be a range of set dates of collection for you to choose from.
