G&J Greenall has been making gin since 1761.
Over 240 years later, the Greenall family business has grown from cottage industry to a dynamic, multi-faced organisation. Modern technology and market dynamics have combined to herald automated production, the growth of own label, global exports and BS EN ISO9002. The skills of our Head Distiller and the time-honoured traditions of the distillation process are unsurpassable. It is this blend of old and new, which gives the business of G&J Greenall its unique character.
The distillation of gin is steeped in tradition and though modern technology plays a part, the beautifully engineered copper stills in our still house are testament to the efficiency and quality of a process first devised in 1830.
Our modern bottling lines with the very latest automatic equipment and platform sweep are capable of loading, filling, labeling, checking and packing more than 1200 dozen bottles per hour. Our purpose built warehouse complex has a through put capacity of more than 6 million cases per year and includes extensive bonded storage.
Our ongoing commitment to production efficiency whilst maintaining the highest quality will ensure we stay at the cutting edge of cost competitiveness for the benefit of our customers now and in the future.
