1% fat milk - thin on fat, fat on taste

From 30th April, we'll be the first supermarket to sell own brand 1% fat milk. It contains 40% less saturated fat than semi skimmed. The good news is, in taste tests 2 out of 3 people couldn’t tell the difference*. All of which adds up to us being 100% confident you’ll like it.

 1% fat milk

NEW!

1% fat milk
Our newest type of milk, with about half the fat content of semi skimmed milk but all the taste. It contains the same amount of calcium and B vitamins as semi skimmed and skimmed milk but is not recommended for children aged two and below.

Whole milk

Whole milk
Whole milk has the full and creamy flavour of natural milk. It contains less than 4% fat and is suitable for children under the age of five.

Semi-skimmed milk

Semi skimmed milk
The UK’s most popular type of milk, with around half the fat content of whole milk. It has slightly more protein than whole milk and is suitable for children aged two and above, as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Skimmed milk

Skimmed milk
Skimmed milk has fewer calories and a lower fat content than all other types of milk. It contains slightly more calcium than whole milk but is not recommended for children under the age of five, who need the extra energy for growth.
