Organic farmer, John Taylor, grows a wide variety of Organic vegetables for Sainsbury’s SO Organic range, including carrots, parsnips and Swede. John has been growing organic carrots for over 7 years now and is fully committed to the Organic culture and mindset.
Growing organics to John is all about the 'feel good factor', learning about using natural methods and beneficial insects to nurture both the plants and the soil he grows them in, all the time creating environmental benefits.
John gets excited when talking about Organic growing and relishes the challenge it brings - he realises that in a developing industry, he needs to invest and embrace new farming methods with specific technology to enable him to produce the best possible Organic crops for Sainsbury's.
