Our Taste the difference 21 day slow-matured
ultimate British sirloin steak
We’re really proud with this steak, because it’s been matured for a minimum of 21 days, which gives it a great flavour and tenderness.
We've developed this innovative style of packaging to ensure that the meat retains all the wonderful juices and flavours and stays fresh. After opening the colour of the meat will return after two or three minutes. There may be a slight occur present, which will disappear after ten minutes. However this does not affect the eating quality of the beef.
Ian Alderson, one of the farmer’s of this beef range says “By working in partnership we ensure that Sainsbury’s highest welfare standards are achieved. This is vital to produce the best quality beef. I look after my cattle welfare and I am very proud of the animals that I produce.”
Our beef is only sourced from approved farms which comply with our comprehensive animal welfare and safely requirements.
