Taste the difference dried pasta range
All our Taste the difference dried pasta comes from a small family factory in Puglia, where it’s made exclusively for us.
They specialise in recreating traditional pasta shapes which used to be made by hand... to get the texture & flavour just right, the pasta has to be watched constantly as it’s made, then slowly dried over many hours at low temperatures.
Orecchiette
The Milos specialise in recreating artisan pasta shapes, so their orecchiette look homemade. Cook for approximately 12 minutes, if you would like it softer cook for a further 3 minutes.
frying the meat from a pack of Taste the difference Sicilian sausages, adding a splash of wine and a tin of chopped tomatoes and cooking for another 10 minutes. A simple rich sauce, perfect with these orecchiette.
Maccheroni
Our “Maccheroni ” pasta is the name of the pasta tube and “al ferreto” refers to the very thin metal bar (like a knitting needle) which was used to roll the dough. The pasta is made from quality durum wheat and dried slowly.
mixing ricotta and Paresan cheese with a little nutmeg and black pepper to make the perfect creamy cheese sauce perfect with this type of pasta.
Or one of the simplest ways of serving pasta is to mix it with a little olive oil and freshly ground black pepper to taste, reheat for a few seconds and stir in freshly chopped herbs or grated parmesan cheese.
