What changes have been made to the scheme in Scotland?
Recently, we made changes to the way that you earn Nectar points when you shop in Scotland.
While you still can continue to swipe your card at the checkout to earn points, the points per £1 you earn now vary depending on how much you spend every time you shop at Sainsbury’s.
The table below shows the Nectar points you will earn both in store and on groceries at sainsburys.co.uk in Scotland:
| Points earned per £1 spent* |
Your shop |
Example |
| 1 point |
Up to £49.99 |
£40 = 40 points |
| 2 points |
£50 up to £99.99 |
£50 = 100 points |
| 3 points |
£100 up to £149.99 |
£100 = 300 points |
| 4 points |
£150 or more |
£150= 600 points |
For what you can and can’t earn Nectar points on, see below terms and conditions**
