Good quality cookware needs to be light, safe and easy to use and this set of three pans (14, 16 and 18cm) from Dr Cook aims to be just that. The first thing that strikes you about these pans is their curved handles. Straight handles means the user needs to bend their wrists, but these pans ensure your wrist remains straight. They also ensure you have a very strong hold on the pans with a thumb grip at the top and flat side panels to stop your hands rotating.

The handles and knobs on the lids have a silicone coating that prevents your hands slipping, even when wet and the pans have 3mm hard anodised bases, which are suitable for use on all hob surfaces. The glass lids allow you to monitor progress without lifting the lid and the lids also feature straining holes so that you drain water from your food safely and efficiently.

The internal surface of the pans feature a printed measure, useful when measuring quantities for sauces.
