Really good value butter dish Great butter dish - does exactly what it should. Everything else in my tableware is white and this matches beautifully. It's a little too chunky to be perfect but the upside is, if my butter is solid from the fridge, a few seconds in the microwave and it's perfect spreading consistency. This butter dish is also dishwasher safe, making looking after it a doddle. As good as, if not better, than butter dishes costing four times as much. 21 April 2013
Love it! This is a very reasonable and great little butter dish. The block of butter fits into it very well and the whole dish looks good in the kitchen, as it is not bulky, but a perfect size. I saw another butter dish when I was shopping, but it was heavy and awkward, despite being three times the price of this lovely dish. The lid has a convenient lifting handle. I love the practicality and good looks of this and recommend it highly. 09 January 2013
Time saver! Ab fab butter dish. Well worth the wait. Now my butter sits in the dish on the side ready and able. Now more hacking a rock solid block from the fridge and eating toast full of holes. Thankyou. x 10 November 2011
Welcome back to Lurpac! Found out from my South African friend just how bad margarines and spreads are for our health. No wonder we're all so ill! Even the rats in S.AF. wont eat rotting margarine si I took her advice some months ago and have not been ill once. I am so pleased to be back on Lurpac after so many years, I have invested in this butter dish which sits proudly on my kitchen worktop containing real butter. Reminds me of my life as a child when we always had a butter dish with real butter. Cheerio Flora light and all you other spreads I am healthier and loving my thick toast and lurpac. Go and buy this dish but get some real butter to go in it. 16 October 2011
