By using combination of real speakers and virtual speakers, the Panasonic SC-BT230 surrounds the viewer with sound creating a smoother, more natural effect. Featuring a bamboo cone, the speakers respond faster, making vocals clearer and movie dialogue easier to follow. The unit's image-processing technology reproduces colour data with twice the accuracy of conventional systems, so colours are faithful to real life and pin-sharp.
Match the unit with VIERA TV model that features 4:4:4 signal compatibility and it will recreate images with the original film quality to further enhance movie enjoyment. The SC-BT230 is also compatible with the latest features of ARC (Audio Return Channel). This allows the unit to receive audio signals from the TV - if the TV is ARC compatible - on top of the pre-existing HDMI function , meaning that just one cable is required.
Naturally the system is easy to set up, offers a range of different listening styles, and as well as playing Blu-ray discs, is also compatible with just about every disc format currently available, as well as pretty much anything that has a USB port.
