The ULTIMATE #1 ENERGY BOOSTER: FREE tips from *evensmarter* 03 Oct 2008

Hey folks winters approaching and I thought I'd share this little GEM:)

Do you find it hard to get the energy you need?

Remember the Ready Brek advert on telly with the warm glow glow around the person - a little like a red aura? Great ad and not such a bad meal anyway. It's cool but wait until you try evensmarter's ULTIMATE #1 ENERGY BOOSTER MEAL.

    Here's what you need:

    Scottish Porridge Oats
    Corn Meal (crushed corn)
    Brown Sugar
    Honey
    Full Fat Milk
    Cinamon
    Clover
    Nutmeg
    Crushed Nuts
Fresh Fruits such as: Pear, Apple & Grapes

    Preparation:

    Step 1:

    Sauspan!

    Add>

    2x Handfulls of Porridge Oats
    1-2x Handfulls of Corn Meal
3-6 table spoons of Brown Sugar
Sprinkles of Cinammon, Cloves and Nutmeg
Sprinkle some chopped nuts or mixed nuts

Mix dry with wooden spoon or clean hands:)
Then add milk to suit and bring to simmer for about 5 minutes until you get the consistency you like
(firm and gooey or soft and runny- it's up to you:))

    Step 2:

    Add >

    Chopped Pear, Apple and Grapes

Stir for 1 min whilst still simmering.

( You can use any fruits you like really. If find ciitrus fruits like orange or kiwi and others don't really work because they are a little bitter)

    Step 3:

Pour out into bowl and drizzle some nice honey over the top.

    Step 4:

    Eat, nyam and enjoy.

I find this to be the ULTIMATE #1 ENERGY BOOSTER meal.

If eaten first thing in the morning it can get me almost throughout the day sometimes. I beleive it's the slow release of engery from the porridge that keeps me going. The fruit offsets the sometimes a little boring taste of porridge

    All the best.

    Shaen.
    evensmarter.

PS Make sure you are not allergic to any of the ingredients. Make sure you eat enough other food as required.
I am not suggesting you eat this as your only meal for the day.

PPS Comments, Feedback or Questions are welcome.
