Our latest Make the Difference day highlights the importance of respect for our environment. Our customers do not really need any more Bags for Life but what they do tell us is that they often forget to bring their bags with them when they come to do their shopping. They either leave them at home or in the boot of the car. So, to celebrate the first birthday of our Bag for Life Make the Difference day, we are having a bit of fun with our customers and giving away a fridge magnet and car window sticker, reminding people to take an old bag shopping. Please let me reassure you it is not our intention to offend any of our customers with the slogan. This is a thank you from us for bringing your old bag shopping. Make the Difference days make it easier for customers and colleagues to make a positive difference on a range of important issues. It is our way of bringing our corporate responsibility principles to life and working with our 16.5 million customers to bring about real change. If we all act together we can really make the difference
