Delicious lamb with a spicy arrabiata sauce, all cooked in one pan.

You will need

  • 4 New Zealand lamb rumps (or lamb steaks)
  • 350g jar arrabiata sauce
  • 400g can butter beans, drained
  • Olive oil, to cook
  • Microwaveable rice, to serve
  • Broccoli, to serve

Step by step guide to making One-pan lamb

  1. Heat a small amount of olive oil in a large pan. Add the lamb and brown all over. Remove and set aside.
  2. Tip in the jar of arrabiata sauce. Half fill the jar with water and add to the pan (or add a splash of red wine for a richer flavour). Bring to the boil.
  3. Stir in the butter beans along with the lamb, and add a little salt and pepper.
  4. Cover with a lid and simmer for 10 minutes, until the lamb is completely cooked through.
  5. Serve with a selection of microwaveable accompaniments such as rice and broccoli.
