Everyone loves a gooey chocolate pud, and this easy one is sure to satisfy any chocolate cravings.

  • 150g dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 150g unsalted English butter, cubed
  • 200g caster sugar
  • 3 medium British free range Woodland eggs, beaten
  • 50g ground almonds
  • 50g self raising flour
  • Icing sugar, for dusting

Step by step guide to making Sticky chocolate pudding

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.
  2. Place the chocolate, butter and sugar in a saucepan over a gentle heat until melted. Don't worry if it goes grainy - the sugar granules will melt when baked.
  3. Take off the heat and stir in the beaten eggs, ground almonds and the flour.
  4. Tip into a 1.5 litre ovenproof dish and bake for 25-30 minutes. The pud should still be gooey inside.
  5. Let cool slightly, then dust with icing sugar to serve.

Cook's tip: You could make this pudding super speedy by placing the mixture in 6 individual ramekins, or microwave safe dishes, and microwave at 90W for 5 minutes.
