  • 4 beef burgers
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower oil
  • 4 sesame seed burger buns
  • 40g round lettuce leaves
  • 4 tablespoon mango chutney
  • 1 large beef tomato, sliced

Step by step guide to making Beef burger recipe with a mango chutney twist

1. Heat a griddle pan to medium high. Brush the burgers with the oil and then add to the pan. Cook for 5-6 minutes before turning over and cooking for a further 5-6 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from the pan and leave to rest for 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, slice the burger buns in half and add to the hot pan, toasting on each side for 30-45 seconds each or until they start to colour. You might need to do this in two batches, depending on the size of your pan.
3. Fill your burger buns with the lettuce, burgers, a dollop of mango chutney and the tomato. Serve.
