Recipe Information
Step by step guide to making Easy pizzas
- Heat the oven to 180°C, fan 160°C, gas mark 4.
- Lightly oil a large baking tray or 2 smaller baking trays and put the 4 tortillas on the trays. Spread the tomato purée over the tortillas.
- Add your toppings, these could include: Pesto, chopped fresh tomatoes, finely chopped peppers, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil leaves, cooked and chopped chicken or ham, tinned pineapple, cooked and finely chopped broccoli, a little grated Cheddar, tuna, sweetcorn.
- Just remember that, because the base is so thin, the toppings need to be cut into very small pieces. Bake for 5-8 minutes until the base is slightly crisp and the cheese (if using) has melted.
- Slice the tortilla pizza into strips, and perhaps serve with a fresh salad or some vegetable sticks.
This recipe is suitable for: Pregnant-mums, newborns, toddlers and pre-school.
