This easy recipe uses Heinz mushroom soup to make a rich sauce for the chicken.

You will need
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 onions, peeled and diced
- 250g button mushrooms, sliced
- 4 chicken breasts, diced
- 2 x 400g cans Heinz Cream of Mushroom soup
- 4 tablespoons half fat crème fraîche
- Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

- In a deep saucepan add the oil and fry the onions for a few minutes over a high heat, then add the sliced mushrooms and chicken. Continue to fry until the meat is browned all over.
- Turn the heat down to medium and continue to cook the chicken for a further 10 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent sticking.
- Add the Heinz Cream of Mushroom soup and simmer for 5 minutes before adding the crème fraîche. Simmer for a final 10 minutes.
- Season with pepper to taste and serve with rice and some steamed green vegetables for a perfect family meal.
Cook's tip: Add a splash of brandy with the crème fraîche for an extra rich sauce, or try using whole chicken breast for a more substantial meal.
