  • 150ml semi skimmed milk
  • 3 teaspoons drinking chocolate powder
  • 50ml Malibu rum
  • 30ml squirty whipped cream
  • 10g milk chocolate, grated or shaved, to serve

Step by step guide to making Mali-Coco hot chocolate

  1. Heat the milk (either in a small pan on the hob or in the microwave) until steaming hot, but not quite boiling.
  2. Put the chocolate powder in a mug or latte glass then pour in the hot milk, stirring until the chocolate powder has dissolved.
  3. Stir in the Malibu rum then top with a squirt of the whipped cream.
  4. Garnish with the chocolate shavings to serve.
