Crispy pollock and chive bites
Delicious little spicy fish bites with a crispy sesame coating, served with noodles and mange tout.

You will need
- 80g sesame seeds
- A handful of chives
- 2 red chillies, deseeded and chopped
- 320g skinned pollock
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 x 300g packs stir fry rice noodles
- 2 x 200g packs mange tout
- 2 tablespoons sesame or olive oil
- Lime wedges, to serve

Step by step guide to making Crispy pollock and chive bites
- Preheat the oven to 200ºC, fan 180º C, gas mark 6. Toast the sesame seeds on a baking dish in the oven for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through to ensure they cook evenly.
- Meanwhile, place the chives and red chillies in a blender and whizz until finely chopped. Add the pollock and egg and whizz for a few more seconds.
- Shape tablespoonfuls of the mixture into small patties and roll in the sesame seeds until coated. Place on a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the noodles following pack instructions and steam the mange tout.
- Toss the noodles and mange tout together with the oil and serve with the pollock bites and lime wedges for a tasty meal.
