You will need

  • 10 Sainsbury's fresh Scottish langoustines
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil by Sainsbury's
  • 2 lemons (washed), zest and juice of 1 , plus extra wedges to serve
  • 4 tablespoons Taste the Difference extra virgin olive oil mayonnaise
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives or parsley, washed and finely chopped

Step by step guide to making Langoustines with herby aioli

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C, fan 180°C, gas mark 6.
  2. Put the langoustines in a roasting tin and toss with the olive oil, half of the lemon zest and all but 1 tablespoon of the juice. Season with black pepper. Roast for 10-12 minutes until cooked through.
  3. Combine the mayonnaise with the rest of the lemon zest and juice, and the garlic and chives or parsley. Serve with the langoustines and lemon wedges.

Cook's tip: Don’t forget to put finger bowls on the table, removing the shells can be a little bit messy!
