Pineapple salsa with tuna steak
This sweet and spicy salsa goes brilliantly with tuna, and is great with pork chops, too.

You will need
- 1 x 432g tin Sainsbury's pineapple pieces in natural juice, drained, juice reserved
- ½ green pepper, washed, deseeded and finely diced
- 1 red chilli, washed, deseeded and finely diced
- ¼ x 31g pack fresh coriander, washed and finely chopped
- 1 lime, juice only
- 1 tablespoon medium olive oil by Sainsbury's
- 2 x 200g packs Sainsbury's tuna steaks
- 1 x 75g pack fresh watercress, to serve

Step by step guide to making Pineapple salsa with tuna steak
- Tip the drained pineapple pieces into a bowl and add the green pepper, red chilli and chopped coriander.
- Add 1 tablespoon of the reserved pineapple juice along with the lime juice and stir well to combine. Set aside. You can make the salsa up to two days ahead and keep it covered in the fridge.
- Heat a griddle pan to high. Rub the oil into the tuna steaks and season. Griddle for 1½ minutes on each side, or until done to your liking.
- Serve the seared tuna steak with the salsa and the watercress.
