  • 300g Sainsbury's freefrom white sliced loaf, cut into triangles
  • 350ml unsweetened soya milk
  • 100ml soya cream
  • 2 x 50g bars Sainsbury's freefrom chocolate, broken up
  • 3 medium eggs, beaten

Step by step guide to making Freefrom bread and butter pudding

  1. Preheat the oven to 190ºC, fan 170ºC, gas mark 5. Lay the bread slices in the base of a greased 28 x 16 cm ovenproof dish.
  2. Warm the milk and cream in a pan with one bar of chocolate, stir in the beaten eggs, then pour it over the bread.
  3. Cut or break the remaining bar of chocolate into small cubes and sprinkle gently over the pudding.
  4. Leave to stand for 30 minutes then cook in the oven for 30 minutes. Delicious served warm with soya cream.
