Unrecognisable reddish mush swimming in waterI'm not sure if this had been frozen and defrosted several times before reaching me but it was unrecognisable as watermelon, just reddish mush swimming in water.

Taste nice but never really fresh.

Was good until they Changed SupplierSainsburys watermelon cubes USED to be packed with flavour, a nice deep red colour, well cut cubes and very sweet.

I think the new packaging marks a new supplier.

What you get now is badly chopped, scraps of watermelon, most of which is very pale and some nearly white/clear with next to no flavour. Unnaceptable for the price you are paying. i know you pay more for convenience, but this is just poor.

I had watermelon in Thailand........and this is as good. Tastes good and keeps well in the fridge...........surprised. Good big lumps and plenty of liquid............natural taste...............

Disappointing watermelonThis is definitely water melon. The current offering is chunks of disintegrating red fruit in a deepening pond of pink water. There is no flavour or sweetness in the fruit to redeem it. This is very poor value and very disappointing. I'll have to go back to the Watermelon Fingers I used to buy with slices of Mango. Maybe I'm expecting too much of fruit in winter ...

Convenient but priceyI don't like cutting up watermelons as I am afraid of cutting off a finger in the process, so this is very useful, but expensive if you consider that a big watermelon is also about £2, but that's the price you pay for convenience. It's best to eat same day as I think it deteriorates quickly in the fridge.
