Created in 1956, Jarlsberg's secret lies in the devotion to its protected unique Norwegian cheese culture, that creates its sweet and nutty flavour and iconic holes. It’s still made to the original recipe and uses traditional authentic Norwegian pine shelves to turn the Jarlsberg® wheels on, resulting in a perfectly matured cheese.
