Voltarol Max Strength Joint & Muscle Pain Relief Gel 2.32% provides up to 12 hours of powerful, targeted pain relief for stiff muscles, joints, sprains, strains, and running injuries. Unlike non-medicated gels, Voltarol contains a unique 2% diclofenac formulation which penetrates deeply into the joint, offering maximum strength relief directly at the source of pain. Whether you're dealing with back, knee, or neck pain, Voltarol is clinically proven to deliver effective anti-inflammatory action and faster recovery (vs non-medicated gels).   How Voltarol, a Pain Killer Gel, Works:   Unlike tablets which travel through the stomach, Voltarol Joint & Back Pain Relief 2.32% Gel penetrates deeply into the skin towards the joint. Voltarol 2.32% Gel contains a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug - diclofenac diethylammonium - which is retained in the joint tissue, to provide targeted all-day relief at the source of pain (apply once morning and evening).   How to Use Voltarol:   Gently rub or massage a small amount of gel into the skin around the painful or swollen area, an amount ranging in size from 1 or 2 pence piece; the amount of gel needed will vary depending upon the size of the painful or swollen area. Apply 2 times daily (preferably morning and evening) unless your doctor tells you otherwise (maximum daily dosage 8 g). Do not use this medicine for more than 14 days unless longer treatment is recommended by a doctor.
