Excellent Suntan Lotion for KidsThis is a sunscreen that both my kids and I both love! It absorbs completely with no oily residue or greasy feeling - a feature my son was thrilled about. Beyond the comfortable feel, it has really good waterproof protection that has effectively shielded our skin from deep tanning. An essential for active families such as mine.

Nivea Sun Kids Ultra Protect & CareI’ve found this sunscreen to be reliable and easy to use for my children. It goes on smoothly, absorbs fairly quickly, and doesn’t leave skin overly sticky. The texture is creamy and feels moisturizing, which is great for sensitive skin, and the familiar Nivea scent is lovely as always.

The main downside is that it can feel a little thick when applying, and I’ve read that some consumer tests suggested it might not always reach the full SPF 50 protection it claims, so I make sure to apply generously and reapply often.

Overall, it’s a good everyday sun cream for kids that most parents (myself included) are happy with, as long as you’re careful about regular reapplication as mentioned on the back of the product.

Great protectionGreat product, provided great protection. I used this on my child. The thick cream is easy to apply over the body leaving a great barrier. Did need to reapply after a few hours as she was in and out of the pool. Overall very satisfied.

great option for my sensitive kidThis suncream has been really good on my suncream/sunlight sensitive kid. We aren't completely certain what causes his intense skin reactions but we have been told by doctor to avoid key ingredients such as Octocrylene.
I say this because the Nivea Sun Kids Ultra Protect & Care is free from the main "Octo" allergens/ sensitivities whilst also being microplastic which is great for everyone.
It seems to stay true to the sand, sweat and water resistance, with little sand sticking afterwards.
A few possible minor downsides or things that a helpful to know -
It's a very thick formula and can very easily not rub in well / leave a flakey or streaky finish as it's easy to put too much on.
It has a strong scent so may not be suitable /enjoyable for everyone (it reminds me of summer and holidays!)
It does stain clothes!
It's recommended for 3yrs+ but I've used it on my 4yo, 1yo & myself and it's been the same on all our skins.
Overall, I'm happy with it & it's factor 50+, 5* UVA rating!

Kids Friendly Sun CreamGreat sun cream for kids when playing in the sun, esp. In the summer times. This cream has a thick consistency so I was initially afraid it would not blend in very well on my childs somewhat dark skin. However, I was well surprised that it did not leave any white cast at all and blended in very well. It does not irritate the skin at all so its definitely for kids delicate skin. Love the fact that it gives 50+ UVA protection for my child. As a mom I would very much recommend this sun cream to other moms or anyone with kids.

Pleasant & easy to useThe great thing about this sunscreen is it sinks in very easily and isn’t greasy in the slightest which so many sunscreens are.

It’s spreads easily too and doesn’t pill. It does smell nice but it is a little strong for me.

I didn’t burn when I used it so that’s a definite plus but I didn’t test it in the height of the lovely summer we’ve had.

All in all a good all round sunscreen.

Excellent sun protection, beach proofI have used this sunscreen on both my 8 month old and 4 year old on holiday. It doesn’t feel greasy like your typical kids sunscreen and it absorbed into the skin well. Also suitable on my children’s faces. We used this at the beach and the sand did not stick to their skin which was an added bonus.

A little too greasyThe cream is thick, greasy, and difficult to rub in, which makes application stressful when you’re trying to cover a wriggly child quickly. Even after a lot of rubbing, it still leaves a noticeable white cast on the skin, which looks patchy and makes the skin feel sticky.

On the plus side, I do believe it offers strong sun protection once it’s finally applied, and it’s water-resistant, which is important for kids. However, the texture and finish really let it down.
