Remove outer packaging and place the cake on a flat surface. Before removing collar, slide knife between cake and collar to release. Hold the cake and with a long, clean serrated knife, cut cake into slices using a sawing action. It is important to keep the knife clean between slices.

Don't like the new recipeJust tried the new recipe and I don't like it. It tastes like all the other gluten free products I've tried i.e. dry. It's had all the life sucked out of it. Please go back to using the old recipe, I am not gluten intolerant thank goodness.

A lovely gluten free alternativeWe rarely buy free from products but it was lovely to try an alternative. The buttercream and jam was rich and sweet and the sponge was comforting and tasted like a usual sponge. I wouldn't;t say this is TTD quality and could benefit from a decoration, But overall, lovely with a cup of tea.

Tasty little cake for a afternoon teaThis was perfect for a little afternoon tea I did at home for some of my friends! One of my friends if gluten free and it was so nice to be able to serve her something of such high quality! The other girls did not know this was gluten free and they didn’t even questing it! Not a crumb left!

Bad textureThis was so disappointing! Unfortunately, despite being taste the difference, it was exactly the same as all other gluten free cakes. Overly sweet and poor textured - literally fell apart while trying to cut it

Victoria SpongeThis Victoria sponge was very moist, sweet and had quite a sour raspberry jam. It made a very enjoyable mid afternoon treat with a hot cup of tea. The cake had a very good date on it and really lasted without losing any quality. It is nice to have a free from product this good

Gluten free vanilla spongeI really enjoyed this cake. I’m not gluten free myself but was very surprised that you can’t tell at all that this cake is. It tastes exactly the same as a normal vanilla sponge and was super delicious. The jam is extra tasty too and I would not hesitate to buy this again for my gluten free pals.

Delicious Free From CakeI thought this Free From TTD Victoria Sponge tasted delicious. The sponge was light and moist, with a good amount of buttercream and raspberry jam filling. Serves 6 if you have relatively small slices. Went very well with a coffee.

Victoria spongeThis free from cake was ok for it being a free from but not with the full flavour or texture you’d expect from a normal non free from cake. It lacked that buttery cake feel in my opinion but it was well presented and the jam in the middle was good.

Good to start withHad this one afternoon with a cup of tea. Have never tried gluten free before so was pleasantly surprised the sponge was light and fluffy, the jam nice and sweet so overall good.
However next day it wasn’t quite as good probably need to eat on day one for best results
