Cooking instructions: Oven

Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove sleeve, film lid, drip pad and place sauce sachet to one side. Cover loosely with foil. Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. During cooking: Cook the product for 1 hour 40 mins, remove foil and baste the joint with the juices. Return to the oven and cook for a further 15 mins. Remove from the oven, pour the sauce sachet over the turkey joint, return to the oven and continue to cook for a further 5 mins. After cooking: Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Oven cook from chilled 180°C /Fan 160°C /Gas 4 2 hours

Warnings:

When cooked some pinking may remain on the surface of the turkey due to being in contact with the bacon. This is a natural occurrence and completely safe.

This product is not suitable for rare cooking. Do not undercook raw meat.

Don't wash raw turkey. Keep raw meat and sachet separate from cooked foods. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly between use.

Wash hands after handling raw meat and sachet. Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout, no pink colour remains and the juices run clear.

If not fully cooked in accordance with the instructions harmful bacteria may remain.
