Sainsbury's Welsh Hill Lamb Sweetbreads, Taste the Difference (Approx. 500g)

Cooking instructions: Stir Fry

To pan fry from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Remove all packaging. Separate the sweetbreads, discard any ligaments and rinse with water. Drain off excess water and pat dry. Place 50g of flour in a bowl and season with ¼ teaspoon of salt and ¼ teaspoon of pepper. Add sweetbreads one at a time and toss in the flour, lightly coating them. Heat a large pan over a moderate heat and add 3tbsp of rapeseed oil. During cooking: Add in the sweetbreads and gently fry for 6 minutes until golden brown, turning halfway through. After cooking: Drain off excess oil and serve. If cooking rare, check the surface is fully seared/browned. Check food is piping hot. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. To pan fry Moderate heat 6 mins
