Blended Japanese Whisky

Toki means 'time', and this silky-smooth whisky lets you savor the moment where old meets new Japan. Heritage techniques are met with an innovative modern touch to create a subtly sweet Japanese whisky with a spicy finish. It's as vivid as it is innovative. It has fresh and herbaceous aromas of crisp green apple and basil, with each sip bringing notes of peppermint and thyme, grapefruit and green grapes. It's a wonderful way to make the classic highball cocktail by filling a glass to the brim with ice and gently pouring over Toki whisky. Top up with three measures of chilled sparkling water, poured gently along the side of the glass to avoid melting the ice or bursting the bubbles. Alternatively, sip it neat or over ice in your favorite crystal rocks glass. The Japanese respect for tradition and innovation can be seen in the unique way this whisky is made. It's a blend of a trio of whiskies from three renowned distilleries: Hakushu, Chita and Yamazaki. Mastered by Japanese craftsmanship, Toki is an innovative blend of Suntory Whisky. Pinpointing the moment where old and new Japan meet, this whisky will transport you through time. Each drop is presented in a sleek, modern bottle which makes a striking addition to any liquor cabinet. The product image displayed reflects our new packaging. Please note that during this transition, you may receive the previous packaging design while supplies last. The product inside remains the same high quality and intact.

Toki means "time" in Japanese, and is a fitting name for a whisky that shows deep respect for both tradition and reinvention. Suntory Toki marries old and new to create a groundbreaking—yet timeless—blend of whiskies from Suntory's Hakushu, Yamazaki and Chita distilleries. It combines exquisite balance with the heartfelt feelings of harmony and oneness. Rooted in authentic craftsmanship and inspired by playful spirit, each bottle of Toki is designed to instill a sense of wonder.

First time trying Japanese whiskyDidn't really know what to expect, as I'm not a whisky buff, but really enjoyed my first experience of Japanese whisky. I admit I usually only drink whisky and cola, but braved this one neat and it didn't disappoint. Beautiful taste, just prefer a darker coloured spirit, given the choice.

It taste too much like rice , it's too light for my taste but if you like light whisky's you should give this one a chance

SmoothI thought this whisky was made for a highball but it can be easily enjoyed neat. It is very smooth, light and refreshing. I would actually recommend this for new whisky drinkers as it is very easy with nothing to offend most palates.

Lovely whiskey - worth a tryI had been wanting to try this Japanese Whiskey for a while and couldn't refuse when it came on offer. Subtle notes and lovely neat. Cheeky appearance on the Gentleman series on Netflix.

Too sweet for meIt was my first time trying this: it was very light and a bit too sweet. I prefer more smokey peaty flavours and this is a citrus light bodied whisky. Not my favourite but ok for casual drinks. I had it on its own and made a homemade cocktail with a litte ginger ale which was not too bad.

Nice and mellow whiskeyHas some honey and treacle notes, and not too harsh at all. A somewhat subtle taste, and think I preferred neat. When mixed, it seems to be a bit overpowered, though perhaps will experiment with different mixers in future.

Grapefruit and vanillaWe really enjoyed this and actually had it with some hot water and honey after being unwell. The undertones of citrus and vanilla made this a morish drink. Definitely one for a manhattan!

Smooth whiskyThought we would try this whisky as heard some good things about ones from Japan. This did not disappoint , found it to be nice and smooth and mild , not so much of the burn of other whisky's .on its own , with ice or mixer , it tastes good. would buy again .
