History: Les Chais du Sud, part of Boisset, Famille des Grands Vins, is a leading wine facility in Southern France. With 100 years of marketing experience, we supply wines from top regional terroirs with recognized industrial efficiency (9 production lines). Internationally distributed, we are ideally located at the crossroads of Languedoc, Provence, and the Rhône Valley.
Regional information: Vin de France allows flexibility in sourcing grapes from various French regions, enabling winemakers to craft expressive styles. Sauvignon Blanc under this label often comes from southern areas like Languedoc, offering ripe citrus, tropical fruit, and herbal notes. The Mediterranean climate ensures optimal ripeness, while modern techniques preserve freshness and varietal character.
Vinification: Machine-harvested in Aug-Sept 2024 from various-aged vines. Fermentation at 16-18°C for 7 days in inert stainless steel tanks with no malolactic fermentation. Wine matured in stainless steel. Clarified with bentonite, tangentially filtered, and stabilized via electrodialysis.
