Oatly was founded on the simple idea of bringing change and trans-parency to existing food systems that are currently responsible for about a third of all global greenhouse gas emissions, rough-ly half of which come from the animal-based food sector. Our thought was to offer oat-based options so amazing and enjoyable to experience, that you wouldn't feel you had to compromise when choosing them over conventional animal-based products. This of course could potentially trigger a shift to a world where we all work together to protect the viability of this amazing planet we live on. We don't know anything about almonds or soy or cute farm animals. All we know is oats. Speci-fically, how to turn the best ones into a liquid drink so that you can take them home and enjoy them whenever you feel you need them in your body. It was our original idea in the early 1990s to create a viable alter-native to milk from oats and it is our idea to con-tinue to make the best, most amazing liquid oats that you will find anywhere.
