This deliciously fruity white is fragrant and bursting with the juicy flavours of ripe peach and apricot. It is well-balanced with low acidity which gives it a lovely soft, rounded quality.
This wine is made using a technique called 'passerillage' which exposes the grape clusters to the sun in order to concentrate the natural sugars. The grape variety name Loin de l'Oeil is native to the Gaillac region of Southwest France and translates as 'far from the eye' due to the grapes hanging down low, far away from the bud.
Great with creamy pasta or fish dishes.
