A wonderfully rich dessert wine with lusciously sweet peach and apricot flavours complemented by a citrus finish.
Possibly the most well-known dessert wine in the world, Sauternes is made in the Bordeaux region of France from grapes affected by botrytis, a special type of fungus which shrivels the grapes and concentrates their flavours.
Delicious with desserts like fruit tarts but divine with pâté or blue cheese.
