History: Founded in 2001 by Gregory Hecht and François Bannier, Hecht & Bannier is dedicated to showcasing the best of Southern France. Specialising in appellations from Languedoc to Provence, they work closely with growers, blending parcels to create wines that reflect their origin. With a focus on purity, balance, and expression, their wines combine traditional savoir-faire with a modern, artisanal approach to winemaking.
Regional information: Stretching from the Mediterranean coast to the foothills of the Massif Central, the Languedoc is one of France's most diverse wine regions. Key areas include northern Montpellier, Terrasses du Larzac, Étang de Thau, and Minervois. Vineyards span from the Cévennes to the Larzac terraces, with soils ranging from shallow clay-limestone to alluvial terraces with pebbles, sand, and clay, producing wines of depth, balance, and character.
Vinification: Vinified entirely in inert tanks, using stainless steel and concrete, to preserve pure fruit expression.
