Healthy? NOT!These lentil chips are based on a good idea but rate a fail because of being fried in ultra-processed rapeseed oil. Along with other seed oils like sunflower, the basic oil is subjected to very high heat, added chemicals, solvents etc to achieve an “acceptable “ end product. These oils are added to everything, replacing genuinely traditional natural fats, and they contribute to inflammation affecting various organs. Resist and complain to manufacturers! They use the cheapest ingredients combined with chemical flavour enhancers to create an addictive source of calories. Profit is their main motive regardless of our health consequences. Don’t get me wrong, I love the taste of junk food but am still hunting for snacks that are “clean”, which could have been made in a home kitchen in earlier generations.
