Preparation and Safety

Apply the product to a cotton or eco pad and wipe the face, eyes and lips. Or gently tap onto face directly with fingers, morning and evening. No rinsing required. No visible residue.

Very gentle and does the jobAs someone who is a big fan of the original micellar water, the thought of a charcoal version sounded a bit scary however after using it now for a few months it is so gentle, it cleans away makeup and does exactly as described on the packaging.

Not as good as normal Micellar WaterI feel like I have to use double the product to get off my makeup, and it struggles to remove my mascara, and dries up way too fast on a cotton pad, for myself it works best to use my hands and massage it into my skin then wipe away with a damp cotton pad, but this just elongates the process of removing my makeup.

Other than that, the charcoal smell is quite nice and after use my skin feels refreshed and clean, but I think I'll stick to the original micellar water when this runs out : )

Odd consistencyAs i was squeezing some of the gel cleanser onto my hand i found the consistency odd because i have only used pump cleanser previously. I was not a fan of the smell, i found it kind of clinical, but i guess that will be the anti-bacterial cleansing properties of the charcoal.

Good CleanserThis is a very good cleanser and is really easy to use and removes all makeup leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth and clean. This does not make my skin feel dry or sticky and it dries really quickly

A little bit goes a long wayI use this micellar water as part of my daily routine. It cleans make up from my skin as well as any other dirt. It works really well leaving it clean and fresh. I use a little bit on cotton wool balls and it goes a long way.

GoodIt removes make up well, and it also removes oil from the skin, even when not wearing make up, it doesn't leave the skin oily. Maybe needs a couple of pass overs with a cotton pad to remove all eye make up.

Didnt workI was excited about this product since I have very oily skin and prone to blackheads, but after using the product I didnt see any difference. In fact my skin felt dull. It also didnt remove all the makeup. Also, it didnt remove the oil and dirt like the other cleaners in the Garnier range. I wont be buying this product again.

Rejuvenated, clean fresh and soft with no residueAmazing cleanser, let me skin feeling fresh, absorbs quickly, not sticky, my skin dry tightened and seemed to give an even tone to my skin. After a minute or soo, my skin was soft to the touch, felt rejuvenated, and looked soo fresh! I almost didn’t even feel the need to moisturise as my skin felt so soft. I highly recommend
