Gin Mare takes its name from the latin term for the Mediterranean Sea, "Mare Nostrum." Gathered from some of the Mediterranean's rich and fertile lands, Arbequina olives, rosemary, thyme, and basil provide Gin Mare with its signature flavour. These essential botanicals, carefully selected from Greece, Italy, Spain, and France, make Gin Mare a truly Mediterranean Gin. Aroma: Fragrant, aromatic herbaceous notes, derived from the thyme and rosemary, balanced by aromas from basil and the Arbequina olives and perfumed by crushed juniper with a hint of pine. Taste: Bold, rich flavours from and woody herbs and olives create a long, savoury and aromatic palate celebrating Mediterranean flavours. There is a touch of salinity, brightened by familiar flavours from the basil, cardamom and citrus fruits. Finish: Full bodied with a long lasting finish which marries the zesty flavours of coriander and tart juniper with savoury green olive balanced with a hint of black pepper.

Number of Serves per Bottle: 28 Distillation: Each botanical is macerated, to soften it and bring out its flavour, before being individually distilled. Signature Blending due to the different acidity levels of the Arbequina olive each year allows each botanical to express itself in the end product.
