History: Founded in 1958 in the heart of Greece's Peloponnese, Cavino combines generations of winemaking expertise with modern techniques, crafting wines that showcase the character of Greece's native vineyards.
Regional information: Grown in the highlands of the Peloponnese, the vineyards benefit from a cool Mediterranean climate, where altitude tempers warmth and preserves natural freshness. The soils are sandy with limestone, providing excellent drainage and contributing to precision, minerality, and finesse.
Vinification: Fermented slowly in stainless steel tanks to preserve its fresh fruit flavours and vibrant aromas, the wine is then aged on its fine lees for at least three months. This adds a smooth texture and extra depth, while keeping the wine crisp, lively, and beautifully balanced.
