History: Pala is famous for producing one of the greatest Vermentinos in Sardinia. Based in the classico area just north of Cagliari. they were the Gambero Rosso Italian winery of the year 5 years ago.
Regional information: Serdiana just north of Calgliari is well known for being one of the best regions to produce high quality Vermentino. Their cru Vermentino wins 3 glasses Gambero Rosso nearly every year.
Vinification: The juice obtained from a soft pressing of the grapes is fermented in stainless steel vats with its natural yeast, at a controlled temperature of 15º. After fermentation, the wine ages in stainless steel vats with its lees for 4 months
