For more than three centuries, Mount Gay Distillery has been the home of quintessential Barbados rum. Based in St. Lucy at the northernmost tip of the island, every bottle of Mount Gay is produced in much the same way as it was back in 1703.
For over 300 years, Mount Gay has been crafting deeply aromatic and rich rums on the Northern tip of Barbados in the Caribbean. Developed in 1911, Mount Gay Eclipse is one of the World's oldest rum blends, named after the total solar eclipse visible from Barbados in 1910. It is a blend of rums distilled in traditional copper pot and column stills, then matured in American whiskey casks.
