Cooking instructions: Oven
Oven cook from chilled. If freezing at home, defrost thoroughly before cooking. Before cooking: Preheat oven. Remove the film, leaving the chicken crown in the provided tray. Cover with foil and place on a roasting tray in the middle of the oven. During cooking: Baste regularly during cooking. Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes of cook and baste chicken. After cooking: Check food is piping hot throughout, all juices run clear and no pink colour remains. All cooking appliances vary. This is a guide only. Leave to stand for 10 minutes before carving. Remove herb garnish, bacon and stuffing before carving. With a sharp knife, evenly cut thin slices from each side of the crown, then serve. Oven cook from chilled 200ºC / Fan 180ºC / Gas 6 1 hour 39 mins

Cook thoroughly until piping hot throughout, no pink colour remains and the juices run clear. If not fully cooked in accordance with the instructions harmful bacteria may remain.
When cooked some pinking may remain on the surface of the chicken due to being in contact with the bacon. This is a natural occurrence and completely safe.

For use by date: see front of pack. Keep refrigerated. Do not exceed the use by date.
Leave in original packaging and defrost for 12 hours in the refrigerator. Once defrosted use within 24 hours. Do not refreeze once defrosted.
For best quality, freeze as soon as possible after purchase and always within the use by date. Once frozen consume within 1 month. If defrosted use the same day.
