This deliciously ripe Chardonnay is packed full of vibrant peach and pear fruit flavours with exotic notes of lychees from the careful addition of a small amount Viognier, Grenache Blanc and Picpoul.

Brothers Jake and Josh Beckett started up Chronic Cellars to showcase what California has to offer and this beautiful and complex white wine is the result. This rich white is perfect with courgette linguine with goats' cheese, or for the full Californian experience enjoy it with grilled fish tacos.

Love it!Sainsburys have a great choice of Californian wines, which just happen to be my favourite. This chardonnay is fruity with a hint of oak. A great price; even better during the recent 25% discount promotion. Love it!

Nice white wineThis was a pleasant and easy to drink white wine. I paired it with a sunday roast and it went down a treat.

I would buy again and recommend to a friend. It had a fruity and floral aroma. It wasnt too overpowering or bitter.

Californian ChardonnayA fresh and tasty Chardonnay, light in colour and fruity in taste. We had this on its own with some nibbles, it was easy to drink and not too dry. A very enjoyable wine which we would recommend on its own or with food

Gorgeous ChardonnayGorgeous Californian Chardonnay and a regular wine to add to our shopping list. Serve it very cold as you can definitely savour the pear and peach which leaves a pleasant after taste. It’s very easy to drink and compliments any fish dish. Also I love the label!!!

Perfectly drinkable Chardonnay but average.Sainsbury’s Central Coast Californian Chardonnay tasted like the vast majority of sub £10 new world Chardonnay’s do, very average. Fresh, but with a distinctively pastel finish. Perfectly drinkable but not a bottle that I would drink again.

Central Coast Chardonnay- pleasant wineThe central coast Chardonnay was drank during a casual evening watching tv, with nibbles. It was a very light refreshing wine. The taste was enjoyable, with a pleasant after taste. Less acidic than the label suggests. Not to struck on the label picture as cannot see how the picture relates to the wine.

Too sweet for me, prefer my white wine dryChardonnay is not my go to white wine grape. Unfortunately for me, this wine did not persuade me otherwise. That is not to say this isn’t a nice wine, just not for my palette. Sweet in taste (no. 3), my preference is a dry (no.1) which hopefully explains my rating. This is undoubtedly a very fruity wine, smooth to drink not harsh at all. A pale yellow colour with hood aromas of peach. For some, the country in which a wine is produced important, this one is an American white.

Central Coast ChardonnayThis is a very quaffable Californian Chardonnay. We enjoyed it chilled with a fish meal and it was the icing on the cake making a good meal Great! Pitched between dry and medium it has a nice bouquet with an touch of exotic fruit making a complex and great value wine.

Smooth and refreshingThe label said peach, pear and lychee flavours, I’m not fussed on pear-although come to think of it- I like a good pear cider! Can’t claim to have tasted these flavours, but it did taste really nice also smooth and refreshing. Drank on its own as I don’t need an excuse to open a good bottle at the weekend.
